Mama – Baby Tea

Mama baby tea is a great opportunity to spend time with your little one and other new parents. Tea and snacks are provided, but feel free to bring anything to share. Check out books from our library, exchange items in our mama – baby swap, and share stories/ask questions about the first months of motherhood. No need to RSVP.


Childbirth Education Series

Current Series: February 15 – March 8

Our childbirth education classes are designed to provide you with the skills, resources, and tools along with class discussion to support you as you navigate labor, birth, and the postpartum period. Education provided during this series is based on the belief that pregnancy and birth are normal and healthy aspects of life. This class is interactive and dynamic in structure with the goal of helping you build confidence in your bodes innate ability to give birth. We strive to provide you with  an understanding of the of natural (physiologic) process of labor and birth and the tools we can use to best support this process. While our 4 part series is designed for those giving birth in the out-of-hospital setting, all are welcome!

The cost is $100 per couple for this 4 class series.

Massage Techniques for Labor

Monday, December 12, 1:00 to 5:00PM

This is a hands-on class, taught by local masseuse Katey Branch, that will instruct on basic massage techniques for labor. Special focus will be on relaxation inducing touch and pain relieving techniques for back labor. The cost to audit this course is $50.
